Over the last 8 weeks of our civil restrictions the Osteopathic profession (along with other Allied Health Practitioners – Chiro/Physio) has been wrestling with the requirements needed to start opening our clinics.
In line with the most up-to-date guidance from Public Health Wales (including Public Health England), the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy the decision of how & when to open has been made easier to navigate.
Checklists and procedures are now in place that give us the assurance that not only are we minimising the risk as much as humanly possible but also we are keeping you and us safe.
Nothing is 100% secure but with best practice guidelines and having access to the correct PPE and cleaning supplies there is great confidence to start seeing patients again.
These are the new norms. As is suggested by the UK Gov. this thing is not going away but we can do much to reduce its threat to our most vulnerable and all of us.
Please feel free to contact us with questions you have for all your aches and pains; meanwhile we are happy to say …
we can start seeing you (with limited availability) again.
